Thanks to the generosity of the Elizabeth Creak Charitable Trust, the Royal Agricultural University is delighted to be able to extend scholarships for new applicants this September.

Eligibility Criteria for Clyde Higgs Scholarship at Royal Agricultural University 2025-2026

To be eligible for this award you must:

  1. Have received an agreed offer after the original deadline of 11 June, to study on one of the following courses:
  2. MSc Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security
  3. MSc Agricultural Technology and Innovation
  4. MSc Agroecology
  5. Graduate Diploma in Agriculture
  6. PgDip in Agricultural Technology and Innovation
  7. PgDip Agroecology
  8. PgDip in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security
  9. PgCert Regenerative Farming
  10. PgCert in Agricultural Technology and Innovation
  11. PgCert in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security
  12. MBA Food and Agriculture
  13. PgDip Business Administration (Food and Agriculture)
  14. PhD Programme (where this is an agriculture focus)
  15. MSc by Research (where this is an agriculture focus)
  16. BSc (Hons) Agriculture
  17. FdSc Agriculture and Farm Management
  18. BSc (Hons) Agri-Management (Top-up)
  19. BSc (Hons) Agricultural Business Management
  20. Demonstrate a passion for Agriculture

Benefits of Clyde Higgs Scholarship at Royal Agricultural University 2025-2026

  1. The award is worth up to £3,000 per annum for one year of full-time study at the RAU
  2. Part-time scholars will be awarded a pro rata percentage of the £5,000 divided between the numbers of years of study
  3. Paid in three installments in Autumn, Spring and Summer

How to Apply

  1. Please apply using the online application form
  2. Ask your referee to complete the online reference form or print and complete a PDF version of the reference form
  3. Please note that the referee should be your most recent school/university tutor or employer
  4. We are unable to accept references from family members
  5. Scholarship applications cannot be considered without a satisfactory reference
