Flinders University 2025 The Andrew Thyne Reid Scholarship (Psychology and Social Work)

The Andrew Thyne Reid Scholarship has been established to encourage high-achieving pre-service Psychology and Social students to complete professional experience placements (PEPs) in rural and remote locations.
Well-being and mental health of rural and remote communities are critical, and placements in these communities are important to providing students with skills and knowledge to assist these communities.
It is recognized that students completing placements in rural or remote areas can incur significant expenses. This program will reduce the financial burden of PEPs and enable students to develop their skills and enjoy the experience of living in a rural or remote community.
