GreenLead African Climate Leaders Fellowship (ACLF) 2025

The African Climate Leaders Fellowship (ACLF) by GreenLead is a free sustainability and climate capacity-building program designed for young Africans aged 18-35. It equips participants with the knowledge and skills to drive climate action and sustainability initiatives at the community/local level. Launched in May 2024, the fellowship connects African youth to tackle climate challenges in their communities through education, internships, and community projects.
ACLF covers key topics including: Climate Science and Impacts, Climate-Smart / Sustainable Agricultural Practices, Blue Economy, Solar Technologies Adoption, Clean Cooking Fuels, Circular Economy, Climate and Energy Policy and Governance, Climate Advocacy and Communication, Climate Justice, Community Engagement, Project Management, and Green Upskilling.
Eligibility Criteria for GreenLead African Climate Leaders Fellowship (ACLF) 2025
Open to:
- Young Africans aged 18-35 from diverse backgrounds, including students, community leaders, media professionals, NGO/CSO staff, and private sector actors.
- Individuals passionate about climate action and eager to develop leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Those committed to implementing climate solutions and advocating for sustainable development in their communities.
