International News Media Association (INMA) Elevate Scholarship Programme 2025 for Young African Media Professionals

The Africa Elevate Scholarship programme is specifically designed to provide a leg-up for talented people – to elevate careers with a spark that INMA is uniquely in a position to provide. INMA is about the business of journalism. And we seek to provide a portal to opportunities whether your future interest is audience development, product & tech, advertising, marketing, or data.

2. July 24: Navigating the corridors of power in media
3. August 14: What to know now about digital transformation
4. September 18: How AI is being deployed at media companies

Eligibility Criteria for INMA Elevate Scholarship 2025

1. Must be employed by a news media organisation in Africa
2. Must be below age 35
3. Must be in the news industry less than 5 years
4. Must be physically based full-time in Africa
5. Must be below senior management level
6. Must demonstrate a need for on-the-job training and education
7. Must aspire to learn more about the business of news
8. Must aim to be in news media for the long-term and, potentially, a future leader
9. Must commit to participating in all four modules
