METI AI and Tech Talent Internship in Japan 2025 (Fully Funded)

The Applications are open to apply for the METI AI and Tech Talent Internship in Japan 2025. It is a Fully Funded International Internship in Japanese Companies in the Fields of AI, IT, and Tech. The Duration of the Internship is 1.5 Months. The Program will run from October 31 to December 15, 2025. It is a government-approved internship program and is sponsored and implemented by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Each company will recruit 1 to 5 Interns. There is no application Fee, and the Internship is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, or graduate students. Proficiency in the Japanese Language is also not required. The aim of the METI AI and Tech Talent Internship Program is to promote IT talent for Japanese companies. Eligibility Criteria for METI AI and Tech Talent Internship in Japan 2025 (Fully Funded)

1. The Internship is open to the Citizens of the DAC List of ODA Recipients.
2. Applicants must reside outside of Japan.
3. Must be either a current student (expecting graduation from a higher education institution) or a recent graduate (within the last three years).
4. Must possess English language communication skills.
5. Japanese language proficiency should be below the JLPT N5 level.
6. Applicants must be available to fully participate in all internship and training activities.
7. Must satisfy any additional criteria set forth by the host company.
