Eligibility Criteria for Northumbria University 2025-26 PGT International Scholarships for South Asian Applicants

  1. Have 'Overseas' Fee Status
  2. Be classified as an international student for fee purposes.
  3. Be Domiciled in South Asia
  4. Be residing in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka at the time of application.
  5. Be Self-Funded
  6. Pay your tuition fees independently (i.e., not sponsored by a government, company, or any other organization).
  7. Apply for and Be Accepted into a Full-Time Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Course
  8. The course must be at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2025 or January 2026.
  9. Meet All Course Entry Requirements
  10. Including academic qualifications and English language proficiency.
  11. You are NOT eligible if you:

    1. Are applying for any of the excluded courses (listed below)
    2. Are receiving external sponsorship or funding
    3. Do not reside in one of the listed South Asian countries
    4. Have a different fee status (e.g., Home or EU)

    2. MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration)

  14. Scholarship Awarded Automatically
  15. If you meet all the conditions, the £3,000 scholarship will be automatically applied to your tuition fee – no separate scholarship application is needed
