The University is pleased to announce that a number of scholarships for refugees and displaced persons are available. A set number of scholarships are available on the following programmes each academic year. Scholarships are awarded on a first come-first served basis and not all programmes will have scholarships available for the whole year.

Eligibility Criteria for Refugee and Displaced Persons Scholarships at University of London 2025

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

  1. Have an offer for either the MSc Accounting and Financial Management, MSc Professional Accountancy, LLM, LLB or MA Human Rights.
  2. Be a new student or have become displaced in the course of your current study with the University of London.
  3. Have refugee or displaced person status evidenced by formal documentation.

How to Apply

Before you can apply for a scholarship, you must first have applied for a programme of study and received an offer of a place.

  1. First submit a programme application form online. Online applications are located on each programmes webpage. You can find your course using our course finder search.
  2. Once you have submitted the programme application form and received an offer, you can then submit a Refugee and Displaced Person scholarship application form online via this link.
  3. (Scholarship applications will not be considered unless a programme application has been processed and an offer of a place received).
  4. To support your scholarship application, you will need to provide documentary evidence of your refugee or displaced person status. This must be current and include a valid start/end date. The accompanying evidence should be submitted via the Enquiry Hub here; select Admissions and then Scholarship/Bursary Opportunities as the categories.
