Romanian Government ARICE Scholarship 2025 | Fully Funded

THE ROMANIAN AGENCY FOR INVESTMENTS AND FOREIGN TRADE (RAICE) announces the launch of the file selection process for awarding a number of 40 scholarships to foreign citizens to study in Romania starting with the academic year 2025-2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Romanian Government ARICE Scholarship 2025 | Fully Funded
To be considered for the Romanian Government Scholarship, you must:
- be a foreign student, preferably outside of the EU and EFTA
- possess the relevant documents to apply for a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree.
- be eligible to take a preparatory language course if you do not understand Romanian.
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents:
- Application Form
- Letter of recommendation
- Photocopy of the diplomas obtained (high school diploma or its equivalent, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate diplomas, if applicable) in the Romanian, English, or French languages, if applicable.
- Academic transcripts, authenticated by the competent authorities of the issuing country in Romanian, English, or French languages, if applicable.
- Applicant’s declaration that he/she did not benefit from another scholarship from the Romanian Government for the requested academic level.
- Birth certificate
- Curriculum Vitae
- Medical certificate original
- Identity card—photocopy and legalised translation
- Copy of the first two pages of the passport (valid for at least 6 months after the beginning of the requested study program).
- Two recent passport-type photos
Benefits of Romanian Government ARICE Scholarship 2025 | Fully Funded
- exemption from the payment of registration fees or any other fees required by application processing
- financing the tuition expenses for the Romanian language preparatory year;
- financing the tuition expenses for the actual studies
- granting a monthly stipend, for students enrolled in the Romanian language preparatory year;
- granting a monthly stipend, for students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral studies
- financing the accommodation expenses in the student dormitories
- medical assistance in case of medical-surgical emergencies and diseases with endemic-epidemic potential
- local public, ground, naval and underground transport, as well as domestic car, railway and naval transport
How to Apply
To apply for the Romanian Government ARICE Scholarship, interested and qualified applicants should follow the procedures below:

- Read the English version of the Romania ARICE Scholarship under the “Short Presentation” tab.
- Read the “Announcement” in the next tab.
- Check also the Selection Procedure and Application File tabs.
- Download and adequately fill out the scholarship application form
- Forward the application form as well as your attached documents to burse2025@arice. gov.ro.
- The results will be announced after July 2025. The final decision will be taken by the Ministry of Education, Romania.
