Sasol Foundation Mainstream Bursary Programme 2025 for Young South Africans (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the 2025 Sasol Foundation Mainstream Bursary Programme. The bursary covers full-time university studies in engineering and science and includes financial support, developmental training, and potential post-study employment within Sasol.
Undergraduate degrees must be full-time, and students must not be studying with Technical Maths or Maths Literacy. A workback/payback obligation applies.
Postgraduate bursaries are also available in fields supporting South Africa’s energy and circular economy transition, including advanced research in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Cybersecurity, and Data Science.
Eligibility Criteria for Sasol Foundation Mainstream Bursary Programme 2025 for Young South Africans (Fully Funded)
- Must be a South African citizen
- Studying full-time in one of the approved fields
- Technical Maths or Maths Literacy not accepted
- For postgraduates: A general research area must be identified
- Application must be submitted online before the deadline
