AUArts offers over $70,000 in Entrance Awards each year to new students starting a degree program at AUArts. Entrance Scholarships do not require a separate application, rather, students who apply for admission by the Priority Deadline of February 1 each year are evaluated on the basis of their application for admission to AUArts.

Scholarships for Domestic Students (Canadian citizens and permanent residents)

  1. Alberta University of the Arts Entrance Excellence Scholarship (1) $5,500
  2. J. Patrick Cashion Scholarship for Excellence (1) ≈ $5,872.37 (equivalent to one (1) year of first-year studies tuition)
  3. Eaton Entrance Scholarship (1) $4,000
  4. Alberta University of the Arts Creative Excellence Scholarship (1) $3,000
  5. Alberta University of the Arts Academic Excellence Scholarship (1) $3,000
  6. Alberta University of the Arts First Year Studies Entrance Scholarships (15) $1,500
  7. Alberta Blue Cross Scholarship (1) $750
  8. Continuing Arts Association Foundation Scholarship (2) $1,000

Scholarships for Domestic Indigenous Students (Canadian citizens)—note that Indigenous students are eligible for all Scholarships listed for Domestic Students

  1. Alberta University of the Arts Lodgepole Centre Scholarships (3) $2,000
