This PhD scholarship supports advanced research into artificial intelligence applications for wound care assessment, diagnosis and treatment monitoring, in partnership with MEDISA. Candidates will contribute to developing machine learning tools, computer vision systems and predictive analytics for improved wound healing outcomes in clinical environments. The research includes collaboration with clinical partners to translate results into practical treatment solutions.

Eligibility Criteria for Artificial Intelligence Applications for Wound Care – PhD Scholarship 2025

This scholarship is available to eligible candidates to undertake a direct-entry three-year PhD program.

Candidates with a background in biomedical engineering or medicine and health are encouraged to apply.

Benefits of Artificial Intelligence Applications for Wound Care – PhD Scholarship 2025

The scholarship comprises:

1. a tuition fee offset/scholarship
2. a living allowance stipend.

The value of each stipend scholarship is $39,700 per annum (full-time, indexed) for three years.
