Aston University 2025 Ferguson Scholarship for African Students

We are excited to announce THREE Ferguson scholarships for September 2025. Each candidate can look to receive full tuition coverage (value of £22,500) exclusively available to students from Africa and India for the 2025/26 academic year. With £6,000 additional contribution towards living costs.

These scholarships are supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to consider studying in the UK.

The Ferguson Scholarships are available to students applying for one of the following postgraduate taught programmes:

1. MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
2. MSc Drug Delivery
3. MSc Pharmacokinetics
4. MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
5. MSc Biotechnology
6. MSc Psychology (Conversion programme)
7. MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery
8. MSc Addiction and Mental Health
9. MSc Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine
10. MRes Neuropharmacology
11. MRes Biosciences

Eligibility Criteria for Aston University 2025 Ferguson Scholarship for African Students

1. You must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the above courses
2. Be a national from India or an African country
3. Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for
4. Be a self-funded student. No agency-referred candidates would be eligible.

If successful, note you will be required to provide evidence to the UKVI that you can fully contribute to your living costs.

Benefits of Aston University 2025 Ferguson Scholarship for African Students

1. Full tuition fee waiver (up to £22,500)
2. Additional £6,000 contribution toward living costs

How to Apply

1. Submit an application for your chosen course by selecting 'APPLY NOW' on the course web pages (select the appropriate programme from the list above).
2. Follow the above complete scholarship web form at the bottom of this page before the scholarship deadline (30th June 2025).
3. NB: You will be asked to include your 9-digit application number beginning 25……
4. The announcements for the applications for this scholarship are to be made by 31 July 2025 (midnight UK time). Please note that this is the final extended deadline for applications.
5. Please note that we do not accept applications via agents for this scholarship.
6. The announcement of the awards will be in July 2025 via email.
