Birkbeck University GREAT Scholarship for Indonesian Students 2026

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Birkbeck, University of London, is offering one scholarship to students in Indonesia applying for a one-year full-time Master's course starting in autumn 2026. All Master's programmes are eligible, except for:

1. MSc/MA Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology
2. MSc Culinary Innovation Management
3. MSc/MA Educational Neuroscience
4. MSc/MA Health and Clinical Psychological Sciences
5. MSc Hospitality Innovation Management
6. MA Psychoanalytic Studies
7. MA Psychosexual Therapy
8. MA Text and Performance

Eligibility Criteria for Birkbeck University GREAT Scholarship for Indonesian Students 2026

Applicants must:

1. be permanent residents and passport holders of Indonesia
2. have applied to and received an offer (conditional or unconditional) for a place on a full-time taught Master’s degree course at Birkbeck, University of London, in any subject, starting in autumn 2026, except for the following courses:
3. MSc/MA Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology
4. MSc Culinary Innovation Management
5. MSc/MA Educational Neuroscience
6. MSc/MA Health and Clinical Psychological Sciences
7. MSc Hospitality Innovation Management
8. MA Psychoanalytic Studies
9. MA Psychosexual Therapy
10. MA Text and Performance

Benefits of Birkbeck University GREAT Scholarship for Indonesian Students 2026

1. £10,000 in the form of a fee deduction from the tuition fees for the first year of study. The deduction will be applied at point of enrolment.
2. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships offered by Birkbeck, University of London.

How to Apply

To apply, please complete the GREAT Scholarship application form by 11:59pm GMT on 7 June 2026. We aim to communicate the result of your application by 20 June 2026, via email.
