Eligibility Criteria for British Embassy Paris Internship 2025/2026 (FUNDED)

1. Excellent French and English language skills (both written and spoken, minimum of C1 level for CEFR*);
2. Currently enrolled in a university degree in a field related to the Embassy's work, such as Political Science, International Relations, Foreign Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism or Public Affairs.
3. Be in a position to provide an internship agreement “Convention de stage” provided by the university/higher education establishment where you are enrolled;
4. Have an interest in business, economics, foreign policy, politics and supporting the UK-FR bilateral relationship;
5. Confident user of MS Office;
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to group objectives;
7. Drive and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to deliver, working as part of a team;
8. Resourcefulness and strong research skills with the ability to act on your own initiative to find creative solutions to problems;
9. Excellent communication skills to work with business contacts and a wide and diverse team;
10. Highly organised, flexible with an excellent eye for detail;
11. Availability to engage in a wide range of tasks as part of their internship.

Benefits of British Embassy Paris Internship 2025/2026 (FUNDED)

1. This is a full-time, fixed-term internship contract for 4 months. The position is based on a 35h week. The monthly salary is 1000€ (gross). In addition, staff receive meal contribution.
