Eligibility Criteria for Chinook Women in Commercial Aviation Scholarship by Conair 2025

To be considered for the scholarship, applications must meet the following requirements:

1. Candidate must be female.
2. Candidate must reside in British Columbia.
3. Candidate must be available on August 9, 2025 at Abbotsford International Airport.
4. The applicant will have demonstrated commitment to complete a Fixed Wing Commercial Pilot Licence
5. Candidate must be currently enrolled in a program.

The applicant must include the following:

1. A statement from the applicant indicating why they should receive the award, their reasons for financial assistance, their scholastic and personal achievements, and their goals.
2. The applicant must include a letter of recommendation from a Transport Cananda accredited flight school in British Columbia regarding the candidate’s current training and potential to complete a Fixed Wing Commercial Licence.
3. Please note that if you are NOT a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident, the preference is given to a candidate to make a contribution to Canadian Aviation in their career.
