Registrations are now open for COSTI Scholarships 2025/26. Five academic scholarships totalling $13,000 in funding are available for current and former COSTI clients—the WCPD Foundation Scholarship Fund, the Vittoria Adhami Immigrant Women’s Scholarship Fund, and the Mary Cellucci Women’s Scholarship Fund.

Eligibility Criteria for COSTI Canada Scholarships 2025

  1. Applicants must be current or former COSTI clients.
  2. Applicants must be a Permanent Resident of Canada, a Canadian Citizen, a Convention Refugee, a Minister’s Permit Holder, or a Refugee Claimant approved by IRCC.
  3. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary Canadian institution as a full-time or part-time student for the 2025/26 academic year and should have obtained a minimum overall average of 80% in their most recent academic year.
  4. Previous recipients of a COSTI scholarship are not eligible to apply.
  5. Vittoria Adhami Immigrant Women’s Scholarship Fund and the Mary Cellucci Women’s Scholarship Fund are open to women of all ages.
  6. WCPD Foundation Scholarship Fund is open to individuals of all ages who are newcomers and arrived in Canada in 2019 or later.
  7. Applicants are allowed to apply for any or all scholarships if they meet the eligibility criteria. However, each applicant is required to submit only one application. Duplicate applications will not be accepted.
  8. Selection Process

    1. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, September 5, 2025.
    2. Award recipients will be acknowledged at COSTI's Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 16, 2025


Benefits of COSTI Canada Scholarships 2025

The Vittoria Adhami Immigrant Women's Scholarship Fund recognizes the high academic achievement and financial need of immigrant women. Two scholarships, to a maximum of $2,500 each, are available for the 2025/26 academic year.

The Mary Cellucci Women's Scholarship Fund recognizes the high academic achievement and financial need of newcomer women. One scholarship of up to $3,000 is available for the 2025/26 academic year.

The WCPD Foundation Scholarship Fund recognizes academic achievement and financial need by a newcomer who is enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution. Two scholarships, to a maximum of $2,500, are available for the 2025/26 academic year to applicants of any gender.


How to Apply

  1. Identify the scholarship(s) that you would like to apply for.
  2. Download the application form and fill it in to the best of your knowledge.
  3. Gather your academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, written proof of enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution and a short essay along with the application in a single compressed folder.
  4. Send the filled application form along with the required documents to scholarships@costi.org
