The École normale supérieure (ENS) International Selection 2026 offers exceptional international students the chance to pursue studies in France. Successful candidates are integrated into the ENS academic community, benefiting from world-class training, a €1000 monthly grant for three years, and accommodation on campus. The program allows entry into the third year of a bachelor’s degree or first year of a master’s program in Arts & Humanities or Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria for École normale supérieure (ENS) International Selection Scholarship 2026

1. Candidates must not be after their 26th birthday on December 1st.
2. Candidates must not have applied to the International Selection before. Applications of former candidates will be identified by the school and will not be transmitted for review to the juries.
3. Candidates must not have lived in France more than 10 months during the academic year of the selection (September 1st – August 31st) nor the previous year.
4. Candidates must justify at least one year of undergraduate studies awarded by a foreign university during the calendar year preceding the start of applications.
5. Candidates must justify at least two years of undergraduate studies in a foreign university on the 1st of September following admission.

On rare occasions, the Director of ENS may authorize applications from candidates whose academic background is non-standard.

How to Apply

1. You must fill and validate the initial application form: https://formulaires.ens.psl.eu/
2. Within 2 days, you will receive an email to activate an account on Dematec, an application where you must upload the required documents in PDF format.
3. If your file on Dematec is complete, it is submitted to the jury.
4. If the jury selects your dossier, you are invited to take written and oral tests remotely.
5. The marks obtained at the tests determine the list of admitted students.
