European Union Traineeship for Young Graduates 2025/2026

A traineeship of up to 6 months within the Political, Press and Information (PPI) Section of the EU Delegation to the African Union to Ethiopia, African Union, starting in November 2025, at the earliest.

Eligibility Criteria for European Union Traineeship for Young Graduates 2025/2026

  1. Taking into account the local health and security conditions, applicants currently residing in Ethiopia will only be considered.
  2. Master’s degree in communication, journalism or similar OR on political science, international relations, economics, law or other social studies with proven experience in communication
  3. Maximum 1 year of work experience
  4. Fluency in English
  5. A keen understanding of and interest in European Union and African Union’s politics, economics and governance
  6. Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
  7. Excellent capacity in editing and producing Audiovisual, social media and communication products and in using Canva or other edition and designing platforms
  8. A hands-on, pro-active, reliable attitude, an openness to learning, and willingness to contribute with ideas.

Benefits of European Union Traineeship for Young Graduates 2025/2026

  1. Each selected trainee will receive a monthly grant to cover living expenses. All costs related to travel, visa, insurance, and accommodation must be borne by the trainee.
