The purpose of this award is to assist worthy students who are FNABC members or sons/daughters/grandsons/granddaughters/employees of an FNABC member to further their postsecondary education.

Eligibility Criteria for FNABC Scholarship Award 2025

Applicants must be:

Students who are FNABC members or sons/daughters/grandsons/granddaughters/employees of an FNABC member
Entering into the field of horticulture, agriculture or a forestry-related field of study
Planning to enter or return to post-secondary education within the 12-month period following the application deadline.
Sponsored by a member of the Forest Nursery Association of BC, and applications signed by the member sponsor

Application Documents

A brief letter describing your various interests, experience, and reasons you feel qualified for this award.
A letter of support from an instructor or administrator at your high school or attending educational institution, summarizing your academic standing and record. If a high school or attending educational institution support letter is not possible, then a letter of reference from a nursery manager, supervisor or grower or past employer with preference given to ones linked to forestry, horticulture or agriculture, will be accepted by the FNABC Scholarship Review Committee.
A copy of your most recent transcripts of the previous year’s marks. (Official transcript not necessary)
Your budget for the year, including anticipated sources of income and expenses (see above template).
