Eligibility Criteria for Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program 2026

  1. Open to sophomores currently enrolled in or transferring to a four-year, accredited U.S. or U.S.-style college or university.
  2. Applicants must be available for the entire length of the program in order to be considered.
  3. Applicants should not plan to complete university summer classes or independent internships concurrently with the program.

  1. Learn core finance and investment concepts from world-class business professors
  2. Develop core technical skills and soft skills to thrive in a business environment

  4. Meet key company executives and apply your new valuation skills during a group capstone project
  5. Build relationships with fellow Scholars that will last beyond your GWI summer
  6. Receive free housing and meals on campus at Wharton, (additional financial assistance available on an application basis for internship-related costs)

How to Apply

Below are the materials you will be required to submit to apply to the 2026 GWI Intensive Program:

  1. All required fill-in fields and short answer questions in this application
  2. One written essay of 350-500 words (prompt within application)
  3. Resume detailing work experience and extracurricular involvement
  4. A one-minute pre-recorded video (instructions within application)

  1. Academic Transcripts
  2. Sophomore applicants: Complete college transcript
  3. First-Year applicants: Complete high school transcript (grades 9-12 or equivalent coursework)
  4. Two feedback forms from applicant-designated references (Internship Track Applicants Only)
