Kent LLM Global Welcome Scholarship 2026

The Kent Law School offers the LLM Global Welcome Scholarship to support talented overseas students pursuing a full-time taught LLM at the University of Kent Canterbury Campus. This award aims to assist international students from ODA-eligible countries who demonstrate academic commitment and self-funding capability.

Eligibility Criteria for Kent LLM Global Welcome Scholarship 2026

You must meet all of the following conditions:

1. Applicants must hold a valid passport demonstrating nationality of a country receiving ODA funding from the OECD. A full list of countries can be found on the OECD website
2. Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes
3. Be fully self-funding your studies
4. To have applied for the taught Kent LLM at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent for entry in January 2026
5. To have accepted an offer of a place on the taught LLM by the scholarship application deadline
6. Submit a scholarship application (details below) by the scholarship application deadline (please note that we are unable to consider applicants for the award without an application)

POINTS TO NOTE:

1. You must meet the academic conditions of entry/be accepted for entry for the award to be given
2. This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships offered by Kent Law School (the award which provides the greater monetary value overall will be given only). Please contact us for further information.
3. There is a limited number of scholarships available, which will be awarded in the order of submission of eligible applications.
4. Graduates of the University of Kent are eligible for the award if they meet the stated conditions
5. Where students are required to continue their studies beyond their original period of registration, the award will only be provided for that original period of registration
