Minerva Scholarship Fund 2025

Since 2009, the Minerva Scholarship Fund (MSF) has supported Leiden University Bachelor and Master students with financial assistance for exceptional study, research, or internship projects abroad. Open to all faculties and nationalities, MSF offers €900 to €2000 to help cover research expenses, international travel, and living costs. Membership of the Minerva student association is not required to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Minerva Scholarship Fund 2025

Applicants must:

1. Be registered as a Bachelor or Master student at Leiden University
2. Apply for a prestigious or exceptional project abroad
3. Project must fall under study, research, or internship (not full Master programmes or PhDs)
4. Submit a project report with images within 3 months of completion

2. Complete the form.
3. Check you have all the required documents.
4. Submit your complete application dossier to the address provided before the deadline.

Note: There are two MSF application rounds per year. The deadlines for these are 15 April and 15 November.
