NAMI Scholarship Supporting Nigerian Students in Manitoba 2025-2026

The Nigerian Association of Manitoba Inc. (NAMI), through its Scholarship Awards Committee (NAMISAC), offers an annual scholarship to recognize Nigerian students enrolled in post-secondary institutions across Manitoba. The award celebrates academic excellence and active volunteerism within the Nigerian community.

Eligibility Criteria for NAMI Scholarship Supporting Nigerian Students in Manitoba 2025-2026

1. Must be a Nigerian citizen and legally residing in Manitoba
2. Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in Manitoba
3. Must be a member of NAMI or an associated organization
4. Must be an active volunteer with NAMI or its partners
5. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.5 (or 70% for new high school graduates)
6. Must not have received the NAMI scholarship in the past 12 months

Selection Process

1. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to an interview.
2. Award Ceremony: October 4, 2025 at the Nigeria @65 Independence Celebration

2. Biographical essay detailing your community and NAMI-related involvement
3. Proof of NAMI membership (dues receipt or membership letter)
4. Reference letter confirming volunteer contributions from a NAMI-affiliated organization
