Netherlands Announces the 2025 Fully-funded MENA Scholarship for African Students—Apply Now!

The Netherlands is once again providing academic opportunities for upcoming leaders in the Middle East and North Africa. Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 short course scholarships offered by the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP), a distinguished Dutch-funded program that provides young professionals from a few countries in the region with fully funded study opportunities.
The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) offers fully funded short courses in the Netherlands for young professionals from select Middle East and North African countries. Funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and administered by Nuffic, the MSP is designed to build capacity and strengthen relations between the Netherlands and participating countries through knowledge exchange and training.

Professionals who
- Are nationals and residents of eligible MENA countries
- Are 45 years old or younger by the deadline
- Have at least 2 years of work experience
- Have written employer support to participate and implement a Back Home Action Plan
- Are not employed by international development organizations or private companies with staff training budgets
- Have strong English or French proficiency
- Match thematic priorities in their country

- Alignment with country priorities
- Institutional eligibility and course match
- Potential to contribute to capacity building

- Egypt
- Iran
- Iraq
- Jordan
- Lebanon
- Libya
- Mauritania
- Morocco
- Oman
- Tunisia
- Syria (if living and working in another eligible country)
- ❌ Sudan is excluded for 2025
