About Caribbean Canadian Association of Waterloo Region (CCAWR)

The Caribbean Canadian Association of Waterloo Region (CCAWR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the social, cultural, and economic interests of Caribbean-Canadians in the Waterloo Region. Established in 1975, CCAWR supports students through scholarships and awards of excellence, particularly during events such as Black History Month. The organization also runs cultural programs and community initiatives to foster leadership, education, and civic engagement among youth. CCAWR is committed to building a strong and inclusive community rooted in Caribbean heritage.
