The Statkraft STEM Scholarships are to support two students for the duration of their course (up to 4 years) with an award of £3,000 per year.Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable power generator, is supporting this STEM Scholarship Fund at UHI.

Eligibility Criteria for Statkraft STEM Scholarships at UHI 2026

1. Student studying a multi-year STEM course at UHI
2. Support for up to four years—students will be required to continue to meet academic requirements and provide an annual report of their progress.
3. Full-time student
4. Student ordinarily resident in Scotland
5. Selection panel assessment of students’ academic performance and potential and desire to progress

2. Career potential
3. Financial situation

Each applicant must provide a personal reference.

Benefits of Statkraft STEM Scholarships at UHI 2026

1. The Scholarships will support two entrance scholarships at £3,000 per annum for students studying STEM FE and HE courses.
2. Students will be supported for the duration of their course – between two and four years.
3. Therefore, a student on a two-year course will receive a total of £6,000, and a student on a four-year course will receive a £12,000 over the course of their degree.
