The Clothworkers’ Company is funding two undergraduates (Contour Fashion BA (Hons)) and two postgraduates (MSc/MA Contour Fashion Innovation or MSc Sustainable Textile Technologies) by. Undergraduate scholars will receive £5,000 per year of study and Postgraduate scholars will receive £5,000 for a one-year course.

Eligibility Criteria for The Clothworkers' Company Scholarship at De Montfort University 2025

To be eligible, Undergraduate students must:

  1. Have made DMU their firm choice for the first year of the Contour Fashion BA (Hons) undergraduate degree programme in the current academic year (not distance learning)
  2. Be a home/fee-paying student—have a UK Student Support Number (English, Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish students)
  3. Apply online to be income assessed by Student Finance.
  4. Demonstrate financial need—household income must indicate that students are eligible for means-tested support from Student Finance with a household income of up to and including £50,000
  5. Be paying tuition fees under the new tuition fee regime of £9,250 or £9,535
  6. Be self-funding—your course of study must not be externally funded
  7. Hold no other form of donor- or university-funded scholarship

To be eligible, Postgraduate students must:

  1. Have made DMU their firm choice for either MSc/MA Contour Fashion Innovation or MSc Sustainable Textile Technologies, studying full time
  2. Be a home/fee-paying student
  3. Demonstrate financial need
  4. Be self-funding—your course of study must not be externally funded
  5. Hold no other form of donor- or university-funded scholarship
