The Gates Scholarship Program 2026 in USA (Fully Funded)

The Applications are now open for the Gates Scholarship Program 2026 in the USA. It is a Fully Funded Scholarship for students to study in the U.S. at accredited institutions. To be eligible for the Gates Scholarship, an applicant must plan to enroll in a full-time, four-year degree program. This scholarship is for the Bachelor’s degree program in any field. The scholarship aims to eliminate the financial burden on the students. The selection will be made in April 2026, and the scholarship will begin in September 2026. The Gates Scholarship Program was launched in 2017 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. There are no restrictions on majors or fields of study. The TGS Scholarship will cover all the expenses for the full duration of the bachelor’s degree. More details are below.

Eligibility Criteria for The Gates Scholarship Program 2026 in USA (Fully Funded)
- Students must be from low-income households.
- A high school senior.
- A student must plan to enroll full-time in a four-year undergraduate degree program.

- A US citizen, national, or permanent resident.
- A GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) is required.
- An Outstanding academic record.
- Demonstrated leadership ability through extracurricular or other activities.
- Exceptional personal success skills such as Motivation and emotional story.
- A copy of the most recent transcripts.
- Student Aid Report (SAR), once the FAFSA has been completed
- CSS Profile
- Headshot photo
- Resume
- Financial Aid Award Letter
- Letter of admission to a four-year bachelor’s degree program at a not-for-profit, private, or public university.

The Gates Scholarship is a Last-Dollar Funding. It will cover all the expenses, such as:
- Tuition
- Fees
- Room
- Board
- Books
- Transportation
- Other personal costs.
Each student will receive funding for 5 years to complete a bachelor’s degree.
