The Greenaway Scholarship 2025

This Potential Scholarship provides financial support for students from lower income families who live and attended school or college in the East Midlands.

If you are chosen for this award, you will receive funding throughout your course to support your time at university and you won't have to pay it back after you graduate.

Eligibility Criteria for The Greenaway Scholarship 2025

To be eligible for the 2025 Greenaway Scholarship, you must:

1. Must live in the East Midlands
2. Have undertaken all your secondary education in a state-maintained school or college in the East Midlands
3. Have a household income between £0-£25,000
4. Must be in your entry year of study (Foundation year or Year 1)

Plus

1. Be enrolling in the 2025/26 academic year for the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham (UK Campus), this being your year of entry to the university
2. Have not studied for an undergraduate degree before starting at Nottingham
3. Have Home funding status
4. Not be receiving external sponsorship for your course, e.g. from industry/employers (University Core bursaries and Government grants do not affect your eligibility)
5. Have had their household income assessed for your statutory government support and consented to share this information with the university
