United People Global Sustainability Leadership Program 2026

United People Global (UPG) Sustainability Leadership Program is a movement that brings people together to support positive citizen leadership in the area of sustainability. It is a movement that encourages and enables citizens at all levels to take positive action. The UPG’s pledge to do what we can with what we have, rather than waiting for someone else to act, inspired this movement. It’s a movement that promotes the idea that everyone can contribute to making the planet a more sustainable place.

Eligibility Criteria for United People Global Sustainability Leadership Program 2026

1. Candidates between 1 March and 31 July 2026 should be between 18 and 35.
2. Candidates must be self-motivated, capable of overcoming significant obstacles, and creative thinkers.
3. Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply.
4. Candidates of all genders, even those with disabilities, are welcome to apply.
5. All applicants must have a strong command of the English language. All application forms, training materials, and supporting documents will be in English.
6. Organizations can also nominate individuals for this training.

Benefits of United People Global Sustainability Leadership Program 2026

1. All 500 participants will receive online training
2. Participants will be certified as UPG Sustainability Leaders after completing the course
3. Learn from experts and institutions actively involved in approaches and issues that make the world a better place.
4. Form connections with young leaders from around the world. These bonds will persist long after the program has ended.
5. Sixty participants will be chosen to participate in a one-week immersive trip to Hurricane Island, where they will continue their learning at the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership.

The Leadership Program covers:
