Eligibility Criteria for University of Birmingham PhD Studentship in Computer Science 2025

1. Proficiency in mathematics, especially in linear algebra, statistics, multivariable calculus, and optimization is required.
2. Familiarity with, or keen interest in, optimal control, machine learning, stochastic processes, networked systems, and formal methods is desired.
3. Strong programming skills, preferably in Python/C++, and Matlab.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Strong ability and interest in complex problem-solving and commitment to excellent research.
6. Experiences of presenting or preparing scientific manuscripts in journals or conferences is nice to have·
