The Fish Macroecology Research Group at the University of Delaware is offering a Master’s assistantship starting Fall 2026. The student will contribute to climate-related fisheries research involving quantitative analysis, modeling, and collaboration with NOAA Fisheries researchers. The position is based at the Hugh R. Sharp Campus in Lewes, Delaware.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Delaware Graduate Assistantship 2026

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marine science, ecology, fisheries science, biology, or related field
  2. Interest in quantitative ecology, data science, and statistics
  3. Strong communication, organization, and independence
  4. Preferred:

    1. Experience in data science or statistics
    2. Programming in R
    3. Research experience in natural sciences
    4. Scientific writing experience
