Singapore High Fliers Undergraduate Scholarships 2025

The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce six scholarship awards of £5,000 for Singaporean-domiciled students applying for entry to an undergraduate programme at the Birmingham campus starting September 2025. This scholarship is a tuition fee reduction during year 1.

The scholarships will be awarded to the highest-performing students starting their University of Birmingham programme in 2025/26 academic year.

Eligibility Criteria for Singapore High Fliers Undergraduate Scholarships 2025

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

1. Have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham as their firm choice for a full-time undergraduate programme starting in September 2025. The student must be entering the first year of an undergraduate programme based at the Birmingham UK campus.
2. Be on track to meet or exceed the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.
3. Be classed as Singapore domiciled.
4. Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
5. Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.
6. Start their studies at the University in September 2025 (the scholarship award may not be deferred).
7. Be registered with and have their undergraduate study application attached to one of our local representatives listed here in alphabetical order: IDP Singapore, JACK StudyAbroad and Overseas Education.
8. Accept an offer from the University of Birmingham and be in contact with one of our local representatives by the deadline: 09 May 2025.

Benefits of Singapore High Fliers Undergraduate Scholarships 2025

The scholarship is for one £5000 award towards tuition fees (for the first year only) of a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Birmingham UK campus, starting September 2025.

How to Apply

To apply for the scholarship, students must be registered with one of our local representatives (see below), have accepted an offer from the University of Birmingham, and have made Birmingham their firm choice by the scholarship deadline of 09 May 2025.

Selection for the award will be based on academic performance. No application is required; your representatives will refer those who meet the conditions above for this scholarship.

Decisions will be announced in late June/early July, and the scholarships will be awarded upon the student’s enrollment in September 2025.
