To be eligible for the Gates Scholarship, an applicant must plan to enroll in a full-time, four-year degree program. This scholarship is for the Bachelor’s degree program in any field. The scholarship aims to eliminate the financial burden on the students. The selection will be made in April 2026, and the scholarship will begin in September 2026. The Gates Scholarship Program was launched in 2017 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. There are no restrictions on majors or fields of study. Eligibility Criteria for The Gates Scholarship Program 2026 in USA (Fully Funded)

1. Students must be from low-income households.
2. A high school senior.
3. A student must plan to enroll full-time in a four-year undergraduate degree program.

6. A GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) is required.
