The Kathryn Huget Leadership Award was established in memory of Kathryn Huget to recognize her leadership in business. Kathryn was a long-time champion of the important role of women in the workplace. This award supports students who are working to improve the role of leadership in business and, specifically, the advancement of women in leadership roles.

Eligibility Criteria for The Kathryn Huget Leadership Award 2025

Applicant must:

1. Be a Canadian citizen a permanent resident or on a Canadian student visa.
2. Be studying at the Master’s or PhD level.
3. Preferably be studying in the areas of organizational behavior, business administration, business and commerce, sociology, or psychology.
4. Provide a summary of their involvement in business and leadership, and how they are working to improve the business workplace for women.
5. Provide one letter from a business reference.

Preference given to women currently in leadership roles.
