The Ribston Limited Scholarships at Northumbria University 2025

Ribston Limited has pledged to support and establish three Undergraduate scholarships aligned to Northumbria’s Higher Education Without Barriers Campaign. Through the HEWB Fund, Northumbria is providing a range of financial initiatives to make participation and progression in higher education more achievable for academically talented students regardless of their social or economic circumstances.

The scholarships will be awarded to three BSc (Hons) Real Estate students with £3,000 in the first year of study only. The money can be used to enhance the overall learning experience.

Eligibility Criteria for The Ribston Limited Scholarships at Northumbria University 2025

To be eligible to apply, you must also:

1. Be a UK/Home applicant - This includes students domiciled in Jersey, Guernsey, the Channel Islands, Ireland, and Isle of Man
2. Apply and enrol to study for BSc (Hons) Real Estate, to begin at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus on a Full-Time basis in September 2025
3. Meet all individual entry requirements
4. Be a self-funded student (i.e., not in receipt of any sponsorship)
5. Apply for one or more elements of the Government Student Finance package (for example, Tuition Fee loan, Maintenance loan)
6. Register with Student Finance England (SFE), Student Finance Wales (SFW) or Student Finance Northern Ireland (SFNI)
7. As a Scottish student, register with the Student Award Agency for Scotland (SAAS) and apply to be means-tested for maintenance funding, in order that SAAS can send your data to Student Finance England
8. Agree to share consent via your Government Finance Provider with Northumbria University

Selection Process

1. There is a competitive selection process for this scholarship scheme. Applicants need to apply via online written application. In no more than 3000 characters (500 'words')—'What are your career aspirations in Real Estate, and how would the Ribston Limited scholarship help you to achieve them? Describe what difference this scholarship will make for you' - Applications will be considered on the strength of response against a marking criterion.
2. Applications close at 16:00 on Sunday, 31 August 2025
3. You will know the outcome of your application no later than Friday, 12 September
