University of Laval CD Howe Scholarship Endowment Fund National Engineering Scholarship Program 2025

To pay tribute to one of Canada's greatest engineers by establishing, in memory of the Right Honourable CD Howe, two engineering scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Laval CD Howe Scholarship Endowment Fund National Engineering Scholarship Program 2025

Start their second year of a first bachelor's degree in engineering in September 2025;
Have completed their first year of a program and intend to continue their studies in engineering;
Students enrolled full-time in a co-op engineering program that includes an internship during the second term of the first year of study may apply before the start of the fourth term of the program.
Be among the students who obtained the best grades in their cohort;
Be nominated by Laval University.

Selection criteria:

Academic performance;
Volunteer, community and extracurricular activities (special attention to engineering-related activities)
Letters of recommendation (quality and relevance).

2 scholarships of $7,500 (possibility of 2 scholarships for Université Laval. Scholarships valid for a maximum of 3 consecutive years or until obtaining a first bachelor's degree in engineering.)
