University of Laval The Peter DeMarsh Memorial Scholarship 2025

To honour the memory of Peter deMarsh and to continue to celebrate and champion the many contributions of forest owners to rural development, the Canadian Federation of Forest Owners and the International Family Forestry Alliance have established the Peter deMarsh Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded annually.

Benefits of University of Laval The Peter DeMarsh Memorial Scholarship 2025

1. 1 scholarship of $12,000 (One scholarship of $12,000 will be awarded annually to a Canadian or foreign graduate student in the final stage of their doctoral or master's level research at a Canadian university.)
2. 1 scholarship of $3,000 (a scholarship of up to $3,000 will be awarded to help representatives of woodlot owner associations in Canada or abroad participate in international conferences on issues involving forest owners.)
