2. Hold an offer for a full-time postgraduate taught program at Sheffield by the scholarship application deadline.
3. Self-fund your studies (students funded by external sponsors are not eligible).
4. Not combine the award with other major Sheffield scholarships like the International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025 or the GREAT Scholarship 2025.
5. Have a strong academic record and evidence of outstanding achievements beyond the classroom (educational, voluntary, or professional).

Eligible Programs for University of Sheffield Scholarship

This scholarship applies to full-time postgraduate taught courses (Master's programs) commencing in autumn 2025 at the University of Sheffield.

However, certain programs are ineligible, such as

1. Distance learning programs
2. Dual programs with partner institutions
3. Erasmus Mundus and Crossways courses
4. Higher clinical fee programs (e.g., Orthodontics, Endodontics)

Important: MArch (Master of Architecture) programs are treated as postgraduate taught and thus eligible, but undergraduate scholarships are not applicable.

1. The Scholarship period will run between September 2020 and September 2021 for the September set.
2. January 2021 to January 2022 for the January set.
3. The scholarship will provide a full tuition fee waiver for the year, plus a stipend of £8,000, which will be paid over 12 months.
4. Applicants who can evidence their refugee status will be considered a priority group; however, the University may extend the invite to apply to further applicants.
