The Board of Governors (BoG) Entrance Scholarships at Brandon University recognize outstanding academic achievement by students graduating from accredited Canadian high schools.
Students entering Brandon University directly from high school are automatically considered for this award, with one gap year allowed provided no accredited post-secondary studies were undertaken.
Scholarship amounts are based on students' final Grade 11 or Grade 12 averages, depending on application date. These scholarships acknowledge and reward academic excellence while supporting students transitioning into undergraduate studies.

Eligibility Criteria for Brandon University BoG Entrance Scholarships 2026
- Must attend Brandon University directly from high school (one gap year allowed with no post-secondary study).
- Must graduate from an accredited Canadian high school.
- High school average is calculated using five courses from approved 30S/40S subjects:
- English 30S/40S
- Math (Applied 30S/40S or Pre-Calculus 30S/40S)
- Three additional 30S/40S approved courses, including:
- Biology, Chemistry, Physics
- Geography, History (various), Law
- French/Français or other languages
- Psychology, Religion, Family Studies
- Computer Science
- Economics
- Creative Arts (maximum one)
- The Registrar may approve variations depending on school course availability.
- Must maintain minimum registration of 12 credit hours in both Fall and Winter terms.
