About Knight Science Journalism

The Knight Science Journalism Program at MIT is a prestigious fellowship initiative dedicated to supporting and advancing excellence in science, health, technology, and environmental journalism. Through its highly competitive fellowship program, workshops, and training resources, the program empowers journalists with deeper scientific knowledge, research skills, and media innovation tools.

Rooted in MIT’s world-class research environment, KSJ helps journalists elevate public understanding of complex scientific issues through accurate, impactful storytelling and global collaboration. The program has supported over 370 science journalists across the world since its founding.
